The MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy (MMMA) proudly celebrated the exceptional achievements of our MMMA Cadets who conquered two demanding athletic events: the HOKA Run Trilogy Leg 2 and the Aquathlon. HOKA Run Trilogy Leg 2: A Test of Endurance
The HOKA Run Trilogy Leg 2, held at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds, attracted thousands of participants, including our dedicated MMMA Cadets. The event featured challenging 5K, 10K, and 21K distances, with the course designed to rigorously test both speed and stamina. Runners pushed through an early morning start under humid conditions, showcasing their unwavering determination. As the second installment of the prestigious HOKA Trilogy series, this leg served not only as a competitive platform but also as a crucial stepping stone towards the final leg later this year, further honing our cadets’ long-distance running prowess.

In addition to the run, the Aquathlon event presented a unique and rigorous challenge, requiring participants to excel in both swimming and running disciplines—a true test of cross-training and multi-sport endurance.
