Celebrating the 29th national Seafarer’s day at the AMOSUP Convention Hall in Intramuros, Manila, the annual oratorical and poster-making competitions captivated audiences with the theme “Marinong Pilipino: Ligtas na Paglalayag” (Filipino Mariner: Safe Voyages). Among 22 participants from various marine universities, our very own MMMA Cdt. David, Princess Dianna, delivered a standout speech that showcased her unique perspective, even though she did not place in the top ten. The event saw a fierce competition, with the 18th oratorical title claimed by a student from John B. Lacson University in Iloilo City. Meanwhile, Cdt. Largo, John Ray, represented the academy in the 15th poster-making contest, producing a compelling piece that resonated deeply with the theme. Though the winner for the art competition remains to be announced, the academy remains hopeful for his eventual success. Together, these cadets embody the spirit of resilience and creativity that defines the future of maritime excellence.
